Dave’s Weekly Market Update

Happy Thursday!

Eggs:
Eggs continued dropping this week and gave up another .08 per dozen. I believe the declines will slow down but there still is a glut of eggs.
Butter:
Butter bounced around a little bit but ended up exactly where it was last Thursday. I do expect there to be strength in the market as milk supplies are tightening and fat components are dropping. Thus, tightening the supply of butterfat when demand is strong.
Cheese:
Both Block and Barrel declined slightly this week but seemed to stabilize where they are. The spread is .07 per lb which seems to be within the normal new range.
Honor Foods thanks you for your continued business and hope you have a safe and relaxing Summer weekend.
