Dave’s Weekly Market Report

Good Afternoon to all!

Eggs:
The egg market rose a little bit this week. For once it did not overreact and go crazy. The market quote today was “supplies well balanced, market steady”. This usually equates to a fairly stable market with potential for modest increases.
Butter:
Butter rose slightly this week and is still staying in a narrow trading range. At some point something will give and cause movement one way or the other. If demand slows we may see a drop and if a heatwave hits we may see an spike as ice cream demand jumps. As always I must state that these are only my observations and opinions of the markets and can guarantee no results.
Cheese:
Both Block and Barrel dropped this week. There is an inverse spread of .05 between block and barrel as of today. The Barrel jumped back up today and if nothing changes next week it will rise as the close is higher than the average.
Honor Foods would like to thank you for your continued business and wish you and your families a safe and relaxing weekend.
