Dave’s Weekly Market Report

Good Afternoon to all!

Eggs:
The shell egg market dropped a lot this week. It is unusual for drops at this time of year but the market has been unusually high and this might be a factor. With Thanksgiving approaching, this is strange as demand is close to the highest at this point in the year.
Butter:
This week’s butter market is the reason I always state that I can make no guarantees about the results of the markets. After reaching the all-time high of $3.135 on Friday at the C.M.E., the market started collapsing on Monday. It went down as far as $2.51 and bounced back .19 today to settle at $2.70. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
Cheese:
Cheese rose this week once again bouncing around within the range it has been trading within for the last couple of months.
We all thank you for your continued business and wish you and your families all a safe and relaxing weekend.
