Dave’s Weekly Market Report

Good afternoon to all:

Eggs:

The egg market rose this week but much less than I expected. I think we will see a small increase again next week.

Butter:

The market rose last Friday and dropped down most of the week until today when it found support at the CME. I believe we will stay at relatively high markets until the Thanksgiving holiday passes.

Cheese:

There is strong demand for cheese and more bids than offers at the CME. What does that mean? Traders were bidding for cheese, and no one was offering it for sale. Cheese is tight, and people are holding on to their inventory for fear of higher prices and shortage in the near future. The same was true for butter today at the market. Not one load was traded.
We all wish you a safe and relaxing Labor day weekend and as always we thank you for your continued business!
