Dave’s Weekly Market Report

Good afternoon to all:

Eggs:

The egg market remained stable this week and is expected to do so for a short while, but as always I must state that these are only my opinions and observations of the markets and can guarantee no results.

Butter:

There is strength in the butter market. There are still many export orders being filled and producers are going strong building up  for the ice cream season. Another factor is that the market has been so high that butter manufacturers have not built up sufficient inventories to cover through the end of the year when butterfat traditionally becomes tight.

Cheese:

There is weakness in the cheese markets. The world market has softened some but after recent history I am not sure what will happen. The markets have been dropping and then jumping back up quickly. I am not sure how this will play out!
Everyone at Honor Foods thanks you for your continued business and wish you a safe and relaxing Spring weekend!
